NMC RAILWAY SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH MELVELLE EQUIPMENT
Omaha, Neb. (Oct. 2014) – NMC Railway Systems, a manufacturer of specialty maintenance-of-way railroad equipment, and a division of NMC, Inc., is proud to announce the partnership with Melvelle Equipment to distribute NMC Railway Systems product line in Australia.
“Melvelle has a long-standing distribution network in the railroad industry with a well-qualified sales team that will enable us to launch our innovative railroad equipment in Australia,” said Greg Terjesen, Director of International Sales at NMC, Inc.
NMC Railway Systems currently offers a full-line of on-track and hi-rail maintenance of way equipment. With years of research and innovative technology behind the hydraulically driven hi-rail function, NMC’s equipment is designed to maximize track maintenance productivity and allow operators the flexibility to work efficiently on- and off-track. In addition, the equipment features hydraulic tool controls and can run a variety of attachments, including: under-cutter bars, tie inserters, tie tampers, buckets, cribbing buckers, brush cutter and Cat® Work Tool attachments.
“We are excited about the expansion of our specialized track and maintenance-of-way equipment to a wider market,” said Terjesen. “The partnership with Melvelle will allow NMC the opportunity to maintain Australia’s railroads.”
Established in 1982 and headquartered in Maryland NSW, Melvelle looks to expand their business with NMC Railway Systems. “Teaming with NMC to develop the market with their railroad products will broaden our offerings to meet the growing demands of the rail industry in Australia,” said Andrew Melvelle, CEO and Owner of Melvelle Equipment.
